Project
The goal of this project is to synthesize multifunctional single molecule vaccine modalities. In this project chemical synthesis is used to access well-defined constructs comprising different immune-active components. These components can include: an antigenic peptide (MHC I and II epitopes) for specific T cell induction and a combination of pathogen associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) such as Toll-like receptor (TLR) and C-type lectin receptors (CLRs) ligands. These constructs will be used to study the cross talk between CLRs and TLRs and optimize the immune response against the incorporated peptide antigen.
