This project is aimed at identifying novel transcription factors that induce antigen presentation in lymph node stromal cells (LNSCs). Tissue specific antigen presentation by LNSCs is essential for immune tolerance. However, little is known on the molecular level what drives LNSCs to express these antigens. We use CRISPR screening technology to identify the cellular factors that induce the expression of these antigens. Finding these factors is essential to understand the function of lymph nodes on immune tolerance.
